• Hours: The beach is open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday

• How to Apply - Initially, submit a village employment application with copies of the Grade II and CPR certifications to the Village Clerk.
• Qualifications / Education
  Applicants must be 17 years old and be certified as a Grade II Lifeguard (Calm Water) with the Nassau County Department of Health.  In addition, applicants must have a CPR for Professional Rescuers certification that is less than one year old.

Candidates must be approved by the Nassau County Civil Service Commission before they can be hired by the Village of Laurel Hollow.  Applications to the Civil Service Commission are submitted to the Village Clerk, who forwards them to the civil service commission with evidence of the qualifications.
